Americans did not wait around for other countries to come pick them up when they had disasters the community banded together and rebuilt. You have a bunch of whiners from all parts of the world sitting back waiting for the American taxpayer to pick them up off their sorry butt.I apparently rattled Jayne a bit. The point I was trying to make was where would Ameica be if we just sat on our butts in the 1600s waiting for someone to provide us with food and shelter. Are there any forms that can be completed and notarized in order for someone to relinquish parental rights?
My friend wants to relinquish her parental rights over to myself and my partner. She admitted to us that she cant take care of her and it would best if the child lives with us. We just want to make sure everything is done the correct way so where do we start... The mom is willing to relinquish her parental rights immediately like 2 months ago .The mom has sole custody so the would dad have be involed?

I would like to purchase birth control without my parents knowing. I am planning on going to planned parenthood to get it, but i'm not sure what the requirements are for minors. Why do people in the US often confuse parental choice and personal choice, regarding infant circumcision.?
Personal choice is something you decide for yourself. Infant circumcision is NEVER a personal choice.Parental choice is when a parent chooses something for an infant. Even if the infant grows up and wishes they had not.So many people say " circumcision is a personal choice" , " each to their own" , " circumcision is nobody else's business" etc etc etc, without seeing the irony. Why not let the boy decide when he is an adult? Its his body.
I need some parental advice...?
My boyfriend and I have been talking babies, and would like one in the next 2 years. I'm a pastry chef and food is extremely important. I'm very big into organic and fresh homemade foods. I've said I don't want our children drinking sodas like coke or dr.pepper, they can have organic sodas that are all natural sugars and not full of food colorings and preservatives. He seems to think that if I don't let them have things like coke, they're going to hate them. He thinks I'm crazy cause I want to make their cookies and ice cream and stuff so I know exactly what's in it, I can control the sugar and salt, and I really don't want them to have sodas. Is that wrong of me??

im 15. my boyfriend of 3 years and i might be pregnant. neither of us get along with our parents. dont lecture me and judge me and think im stupid just because im 15. you dont know what goes on in my house. my parents arent abusive but we just never ever get along about anything. and i do know that it is partly my fault but they are just crazy and its a bunch of bull shit at home. anyway. what im asking is that if i were pregnant, would we be allowed to move in together and get married without parental consent?

Should a American father still have the Japanese mother of he daughter arrested for parental abduction in the United States should she ever return to the United States , because she took her US born daughter back to Japan with out her American fathers consent in 1991? She was two years old at the time. She is now 18 years old and is still in Japan with her mother. The father knows that if he does not drop the criminal charges against the mother, he will make his daughter a American citizen live in exile in Japan because she does not want to leave her mother. Taking a child to Japan with out the American fathers consent is a crime under US law, but legal under Japanese law. It is a crime under Japanese law for the same American father to see take his daughter with out her Japanese mothers consent.
Parental leave in Ontario, Canada?
I read that both parents can take parental leave at the same time. However, it seems unlikely they would allow both parents to be off for the same length of time? Do you have to split the number of weeks that you are allowed?
